(a) | Develop proficiency and fluency in finger spelling. |
(b) | Generate a series of signed sentences in various familiar contexts such as hobbies and interests or fashions and trends. |
(c) | Imitate and experiment with basic non-manual features such as common handshapes, movement and location of signs to convey different meanings. |
(d) | Apply the use of register to indicate formal or informal communication. |
(e) | Express meaning, in guided and unguided situations, using a variety of visuals and other media and communications. |
(f) | Incorporate grammatical elements* such as loan signs, numerical adjectives or ASL compounds when communicating in common contexts. |
