- conjugation II verbs in present tense (e.g., любити, цікавитися);

- auxiliary verbs (e.g., можна, треба, могти, вміти, хотіти) in present tense;
- degrees of comparison of adjectives (e.g., смачний, смачніший, найсмачніший);
- adjectival adverbs (e.g., чудово, смачно);
- adverbs of place and direction (e.g., тут, там, вдома, надворі);
- conjunctions (e.g., і/й, чи, але, або…або, ні … ні, і …і) and comparative conjunctions (e.g., ніж, як, від, за);
- cardinal numerals (1-100); and,
- particles (e.g., не, також, теж, чи, ось, так, ніж).
