Indicators for this outcome
(a) uses complex and compound sentences to hold ideas in discourse together;
(b) uses linking devices throughout the discourse, though not with complete agreement;
(c) uses sentences and questions that contain learned vocabulary and familiar language structures in different forms;
(d) adjusts language to suit audience and purpose;
(e) uses the appropriate level of formality with people in a variety of contexts; and,
(f) uses a wide range of interaction patterns to deal with routine and non-routine transactions and interactions.
