Indicators for this outcome
(a) Listen to storytellers (e.g., Elders, Knowledge Keepers, artists, parents, grandparents, other teachers, veterans, community members, peers) and discuss the art of storytelling and potential connections to own drama work.
(b) Investigate how storytelling (e.g., oral stories, online storytelling sites such as StoryCorps or The Moth Stories, stand-up comedy) and interviews can lead to development of own work and performance.
(c) Tell a story using dramatic techniques (e.g., humour, personal connections, emotion, tension, delivery, pauses) to make a connection with an audience.
(d) Provide constructive feedback on peers’ stories and support each other by identifying and practising ways to refine techniques.
