One of the most important documents in Canadian history, The Charter of Rights and Freedoms was established in 1982. This documentary examines the history of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the struggle surrounding the ratification of the document, and the importance of the Charter of Rights and each of its guarantees: the fundamental freedoms, democratic rights, mobility rights, legal rights, equality rights, language rights.
